My passion for technology was ignited one Christmas morning a long, memorable time ago in my mid-western home of Omaha, Nebraska (Go Huskers!). I was just 9 years old. And my parents had bought me my first computer (pictured left)—a Packard Bell 886 Desktop PC loaded with DOS Prompt (and later Windows 3.0!).
It was during these early years that my nerd-dom cemented, my curiosity blossomed, and my use of technology to tackle new challenges and solve problems began.
Many years later, and after a short hiatus from technology while being a "normal teenager," I went on to graduate college in Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. I took additional graduate course work in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management with a focus on Project Management.
Since then, I have attained over 8 years of professional work experience in the online media industry and in the markets of Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Baltimore, and Washington DC supporting truly rewarding projects for exceptional companies, including Lockheed Martin, Tribune Company (Orlando Sentinel, Sun-Sentinel, Baltimore Sun), Carousel30 Interactive (TV ONE, The Nature Conservancy, United Nations), and Washingtonian Magazine.
I am currently the Lead Product Developer for MyBankTracker.com.
Additionally, I've created a few entrepreneurial ventures along the way—most notably, Skillology LLC, a professional development and consulting firm for aspiring entrepreneurs, musicians, filmmakers, and writers.
Technology and creative ambitions aside, I am a huge fan of reggae/world music, travel, banana bread/beer, and the oft-intriguing metaphysical realm of this world . When I'm not working, day dreaming, or executing a new idea, I enjoy connecting with my family, friends, and nature. It is, after all, nice to unplug from time to time.
Feel free to contact me if you'd like to speak more.
I'd love to hear from you.
